Our Mission
Our History
Edge Tech Academy was originally established in October 2016 in Hurst, TX.
In 2017 the Software Development program was first offered.
In January 2018, STVT-AAI Education Inc. dba Ancora Education acquired Edge Tech Academy. As part of the acquisition, the schools became accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) as branch campuses of Platt College in Tulsa, OK.
In 2018 the Software Development program changed its name to Web and App Development, with the first graduating class of 2018.
In 2019, the Institute was relocated to a 24,200 square-foot facility at 2241 S Watson Road, Arlington. Edge Tech Academy now offers a variety of skilled trades and technology programs.
In March 2020, a new main campus was designated, and the school is now a branch campus of Miller-Motte College in Chattanooga, TN.
